Self-Protection and Situational Awareness Seminar

Like most of us, criminals truly love the holiday season. But they love this time of year not for spiritual or sentimental reasons. The holiday season is open season as far as criminals are concerned. It's a time of grand opportunity to steal. Between Thanksgiving and New Year's Day, thefts, burglaries and property crimes greatly increase. Assaults often follow these robberies or attacks, but you can reduce or prevent the majority of these crimes from happening

Personal Protection Specialist Cameron Bucy of Security Defense Solutions, (SDS) will be the guest speaker and presenter. This seminar will not only provide educational opportunity for women, but “hands on” offensive and defensive techniques as well as demonstrations by female Executive Protection agents. Information on domestic violence and your legal rights of self-defense and your options of ways to protect yourself and your family.

This Seminar Will Cover

·The dangerous mistakes people make getting to and from their vehicle

· Personal safety in and around the home and out in public.

· Domestic violence, how to get out, protect yourself and be free of the violence forever.

·Child predators and how they prey on children and mothers.

·Understanding when and how attacks happen. This is the first step in preventing an attack and or an unwanted approach.

·If and when defending yourself becomes necessary, the seminar will demonstrate some nasty and very effective techniques to stop an attack quickly.

·What to use as a weapon when a conventional weapon is not available.

Course cost will be $25

This course is for persons who are 18 years of age or older. Persons 18-21 must be accompanied by an adult that is at least 21 years of age.

You must sign up and pay for the class to reserve your space. If you are unable to attend the course, you must cancel or reschedule within 48 hours prior to the start of the class. One (1) reschedule will be allowed per student without forfeiting the course fee.
