This Course is for rifle owners looking to develop their skills beyond typical range shooting. The course focuses on professional rifle operating skills, applicable to self defense, competition or casual shooting. Beginners are encouraged to attend. The course will consist of a short classroom lecture and demonstrations followed by extensive hands-on range time. The course will develop the foundation for more advanced rifle shooting. The class will build upon the skills of quick target acquisition, faster shooting, and using those skills in a defensive manner. All these skills are applicable to sport, competitive, and self defense situations. This class is open to most semi automatic rifles of all calibers .308 and under (no AR/AK pistols) (All skill levels welcome.)
Objective of the course is to build solid shooting skills and reliable rifle manipulation. By the end of the class (Beginner or not) you will be completely confident of your abilities with your rifle.
The course is open to all skill levels, however please have some basic familiarity with your rifle, such as loading, and bolt manipulation. If you have concerns, bring them forward to the LRGI staff prior to the class and they will address them.
Course Cost will be $100/$85

You must sign up and pay for the class to reserve your space. If you are unable to attend the course, you must cancel or reschedule within 48 hours prior to the start of the class. One (1) reschedule will be allowed per student without forfeiting the course fee.
Course requires you to provide a semi automatic rifle, 2 magazines with pouches to conduct reloads, 100 rounds of ammunition, a sling, eye protection, and hearing protection.
