Extreme Close Quarters Gunfighting
This is a six hour intermediate shooting course focusing on extreme close quarters shooting positions and grappling techniques at ranges of zero to five feet.
Skills covered will include creating space for the draw, extreme close quarters draw positions, extreme close quarters live fire shooting positions from standing and on the ground, how to perform a malfunction clearance in an entangled gunfight, and pistol retention during entanglement.
Equipment: Pistol, IWB or OWB Holster, 2 magazines, 150 rounds of ammunition. For safety reasons, Serpa holsters are not allowed in this class. Students should have at least a basic familiarity with handguns and firearms safety. Previous LRG Class or event attendance is preferred.
About the Instructors:
Michael Kase is a former Army Ranger Sniper with 5 Special Operations combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan and is the owner/ operator of Rocket City Handgun Martial Arts.
Jonathan Collins is a 20 year Army combat veteran with 3 combat deployments and over 20 years of martial arts experience including Shotokan Karate, Judo, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. John Received his black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in 2014.
Necessary equipment for the course is a semi-automatic handgun, a holster, 150 rounds of ammunition, extra magazine, and a pouch for the magazine. Also ear and eye protection will be required.

If you are unable to attend the class that you are registered for, please give us a 48 hour notice. With 48 hour notice you may reschedule the class one time at no charge. If cancellation is made with less than a 48 hour notice, a fee of $25 will be charged to reschedule
