P3 Ladies Fighting Pistol Fundamentals 1 is exclusive for our ladies. This course introduces ladies to fundamental fighting pistol shooting techniques, firearm selection, and equipment selection. This class will cover topics in the classroom to include selecting a good fighting pistol, ammunition, holster, additional equipment considerations, general firearms safety, firearms safety around the home, car, and streets. This class will introduce the students to fighting pistol shooting techniques such as proper stance, grip, loading, firing, and clearing of typical malfunctions. All instruction is offered in a safe, controlled, and enjoyable dry fire and live fire training environment.
During the course, we will shoot approximately 200 live fire rounds in ranges of 3-10 yards practicing combat pistol shooting speed and accuracy. Though the training environment is enjoyable, and at times fun, it is fast paced, and exposes students to a high level of fundamentals familiarization in one day of training. Because this is a 1-day fundamentals course, holsters are not necessary, as we will not be drawing from holsters during training. Holster draw will be covered in the Fighting Pistol Fundamentals 2 class.
Like all our classes, you will want to “Eat your Wheaties” and come ready to train hard. At the conclusion of the class, expect to be sore, tired, and newly familiar with the fundamentals of the fighting pistol.
When: March 19th 8 am- 5 pm
Lunch: We deliver lectures during lunch, so bring a bag lunch so that you can participate in the lectures.
Course End Time: We operate on a train to standard principle, and so often times our classes run over on time in order to get the student to an improved level of on demand performance. Start times will always be the same, but plan for end times to potentially run over.

Experience Level: You do not have to have any previous experience to attend this class.
Equipment Needed: Pistol with some type of bag or case, at least 2 magazines, 200 rounds of ammunition, firearms lubricant/oil, eye protection, ear protection, lunch, snacks, and water. Long pants, belt, close toed shoes, shirt with collar that is tight around the neck (no open collars or v necks), and a forward facing brimmed hat are required for safety purposes while firing on the range.
*You do not need to have your own pistol to attend this fundamentals class. Pistols are available for rent with prior coordination with P3 Training Staff.
