3-Gun Competition is currently the fastest growing gun sport in the nation. The sport comprises the use of a modern semi automatic rifle, a defensive shotgun and a modern pistol, across multiple stages of fire.
3-Gun shooting events are practical shooting events where the stages are shot with a combination of a rifle, handgun, and shotgun. Matches generally involve courses where the shooter must move through different stages, and engage targets in a variety of different positions. Each stage will generally require the use of different weapons and require the shooter to transition between different firearms.
The stages are scored on a time plus penalties basis with the winner having the lowest score after adding back penalties.
The Next LRG3Gun Match is on 29th July 2015 with a 1st Squad sign in at 6pm. Pre-registration is required.
